‘egg ritual’ is an animation of a ritual in the egg world. On an island, eggs are engaged in a ritual dance. One of the eggs climbs onto a rock and throws itself down to become the sunrise. They perform this ritual every day to keep the everyday sunrise. ────Various mediums are used in this animation. The ocean waves are stop-motion oil paints, the islands and rock platforms are 3D scanned real objects (plants, trees, soil, stones, etc.), the eggs are 3D animation and the sunrise is a drawing by Gusenkova. By mixing analogue and digital materials, we expressed a world view somewhere between reality and fantasy.
