“I dont’w wanna fall yet.”

‘Leaf Notfall’ tells the story of a leaf that fears falling in autumn.

Synopsis: the protagonist leaf desperately clings to a branch as other leaves fall one by one to the earth. One night he looks up at the sky and sees the shining stars look like all sorts of other leaves. That night the leaf courageously rides the wind.

This animation was the first work I made when I arrived in Bremen (Germany), using images of the Bremen water landscape and traces of the leaves I had collected. Sound was created by the sound artist Marion.
